Every spring, I get out my speckle paste and paint and go around the house and touch up the walls. It's amazing how much banishing walls take when kids are around. I might had to repaint one whole wall since Lucas likes to drive his cars back and forth on it--lots of tire marks. I've found it good to keep up the maintenance so the walls don't become a complete disaster.

Good idea doing it little by little. I always seem to wait till its out of hand then it takes so much longer.
ooh, i should take this approach. good to stay on top of it.
Good idea -- a piece at a time isn't so overwhelming.
Your so good to keep up with it. I feel like I am constantly touching up Jayden's room, he can be so rough! Don't you think it's always so nice when you finish, it's like a new wall again.
Your house looks like my dream house. I love old homes with baseboards like yours and casings around the windows. I love your blog, I hope that it doesnt freak you out that I put you on my favorites.
Congratulations on being pregnant. Three kids is great!
I am so overwhelmed with painting and touch ups right now and I don't even have kids you are causing it yet...
